Problem solving principles

Abstract principles that define what is systematic problem solving. Each of these principles can be effectively used for solving a group of problems.

A few of these principles we have identified are principle of zero based problem solving, principle of disbelief and verification, principle of sharing, principle of interleaving, principle of hidden opportunity, principle of positivity, principle of disproportion, principle of exhaustiveness.

It is really up to you to discover and use such fundamental principles or truths in living your life fruitfully for yourself as well as for others.

Principle of disproportion saved us millions this time

thumb_principle of disproportion

All things in nature are in proportions that we accept and have become used to. Mimicking nature we build our things that also follow rough proportional relationships that we are not always explicitly aware. But when such a proportional relationship is violated outright we might feel something is wrong, if we have the principle of disproportion imbued in us.

What to gift?

What to gift is a problem that bothered me for long years. On social occasions giving gift has become a businesslike activity. Fully managed procedures, not much of a bother and decision making involved. Sometimes though an occasion arises out of the blue when you won't know what to do...

Solve your problem efficiently with Principle of Interaction of Inverses

thumb_principle of interaction of inverses

The entities involved in interaction of inverses may be a tangible object, such as a large 90 litre toughened plastic container of drinking water, it may be an object that you can't easily touch and see, such as Oxygen gas, or it can be a strong emotion such as anger, or it can even be such a simple thing as a mathematical variable $x$...

Principle of disproportion saved the young adventurers

thumb_Principle of disproportion saved the adventurers

We expect all things around us to be in proportion. The room where we sleep should not be too high or too low for maintaining our sleeping comfort. The road we walk on should be of same level all the way. These comfortable ranges are in proportion to our human body size and all normal human movement aspects...

Principle of disbelief & verification, an effective principle of problem solving

thumb_principle of disbelief and verification

We know so much. About people around us, things that we use, about ourselves, how the world runs, how nature works and so on. We think and act on the basis of this cumulative knowledge and also of course according to a situation and our psychological makeup and preferences...
